La historia se acontece a mediados del siglo 21 cuando debido al calentamiento global Tokio se ha convertido en una ciudad tropical.Para reducir la temperatura del centro de la cuidad en 5ºC, se planea reforestar la ciudad entera convirtiéndola en la ciudad bosque más grande del mundo.
